The Nikon 60mm f/2.8D ED AF Micro Nikkor is a popular 60mm macro lens with 1:1 reproduction ratio for use with Nikon FX and DX format digital SLRs. It has both a Nano Crystal coating and Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass and Aspherical lens elements which reduces ghosting and flare whilst ensuring high resolution and contrast while minimizing spherical aberration, astigmatism and other forms of distortion. AF Nikkor lenses work with Nikon SLRs for optimal performance, even the very latest. The Nikon 60mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor Lens is Nikon's most compact Micro lens for close-up and general photography, making it great for portrait, copy work, and field close-up applications. The Close Range Correction system provides high performance at both near and far focusing distances. The Nikon Super Integrated Coating for minimized flare and ghost, providing good color balance. The lens shoots as close-up to approximately 8.75 inches and has a 90.4-millimeter working distance Exceptionally high-quality optics produces outstanding close-up results and makes the lens a viable alternative for general-purpose use.
